Peter Haddock got in the cab of the B45E ADT with Brad Castle to find out more, and he revealed that the test site already using fully autonomous vehicles is actually in the UK.
Bell has also taken the opportunity to design a solution that can work with different autonomous technologies that are already available. This means one of their trucks could be added to an existing fleet on a project.
And, of course, as Peter learnt in the cab, you can simply switch from a fully autonomous to an operated machine with the 'click of a button'.
This makes the solution really useful for not just fleet owners, but plant hire companies, as they can offer machines in the future that are capable of both operations.
Peter really likes this simple and inclusive approach from Bell Equipment UK and hopes to see it in action in the future.
