Porvoo (Old town), 2nd oldest medieval towns in Finland, is one of the most photographed town in Finland.
The city is famous for its buildings from 18th and 19th century and 15th century cathedral, the Porvoo Cathedral. Porvoo Old Town (Vanha porvoo) together with Porvoonjoki river Valley is recognized as one of the National landscapes of Finland.

The town (Porvoo Finland) is famous for its Old Town square (Gamla Stan in Swedish), a dense medieval street pattern coupled with wooden houses.

Porvoo’s most well-known symbol are bright red houses by the river Porvoonjoki. They were used as warehouse for trading.

Built in the 18th century, the residential area of Old Porvoo is an idyllic and picturesque district perched on a hill by Porvoonjoki.
