Virtual Space Tourism Flight to the Stratosphere 2023
[ Ссылка ]
A virtual space tourism flight to the stratosphere is a simulated experience of what it would be like to fly to the edge of space in a high-altitude balloon. The experience typically includes a launch sequence, a period of time spent floating at an altitude of about 20-25 kilometers (66,000-82,000 feet), and a landing sequence.
One company that offers virtual space tourism flights is called World View. World View's flights are scheduled to begin in 2024. Passengers will board a capsule that is attached to a helium-filled balloon. The balloon will slowly rise to an altitude of 25 kilometers, where passengers will be able to see the curvature of the Earth and the blackness of space. They will also be able to experience weightlessness and see the stars and planets in much greater detail than they can from the ground.
World View's flights will last for about six hours. After spending two hours at the stratosphere, the balloon will begin its descent back to Earth. The landing sequence is designed to be gentle and passengers will experience a force of about 2 G's, which is similar to the force experienced during takeoff in a commercial airplane.
Virtual space tourism flights are a new and exciting way to experience the wonders of space. They are also a much more affordable option than traditional space tourism flights, which can cost millions of dollars. World View's flights are expected to cost around $50,000 per person.
