PM Modi waives loans of industrialists, but farmers get nothing: Rahul Gandhi
New Delhi: In order to woo OBC voters for upcoming assembly polls and the 2019 general elections. Congress president Rahul Gandhi on Monday, addressed a national OBC convention. Top OBC leaders from across the country also participated in the convention at the Talkatora stadium, New Delhi.
Senior Congress leader Ashok Gehlot, speaking at the Convention said, "There are 52% OBCs in this country. The Congress gave reservation in jobs. Congress gave 27% reservation for OBCs."
Congress chief Rahul Gandhi addressing national OBC convention took a Swipe at Narendra Modi and Said, "Today, our nation has become a slave of 2-3 BJP leaders and RSS. Everyone including MPs is afraid to speak. Most them are not allowed to speak. And those of us who do speak, the BJP does not listen to. Only RSS is given a hearing."
Talking about origins of the Coca-Cola & McDonald's company, Congress President Said," The Idea of Coca Cola came from an OBC guy of India who mixed sugar in water & sold as Shikanji. Now Coca Cola is a Billion Dollar Company & that family of OBC guy is still poor."
He further Said, "Our PM says that India lacks skilled people. This is not true. There are many skilled OBC people. People who work hard in India and have the right skills are never rewarded in India. Our Prime Minister has not given a penny to our farmers for their work."
"You will never spot a farmer in PM Modi's office.Farmers will continue to commit suicide, they will continue to be in distress but their loans will not be waived off.BJP's strategy is clear. 15-20 rich capitalists will give thousands of crores to PM Modi and all benefits will go to just those 15-20 rich people," added Rahul Gandhi.
