KSHMR
Niles Hollowell-Dhar (born 6 October 1988), better known by his stage name KSHMR (pronounced “Kashmir" stylized as KSHМЯ), is an American DJ, record producer and musician from Berkeley, California. His stage name as well as his 2014 song of the same name, are based on Kashmir, the northern state of India, which is often called "paradise on earth". KSHMR has been producing electronic music under his own alias following David "Campa" Singer-Vine's departure from the duo The Cataracs in 2014. He debuted at 23rd on DJ Magazine's Top 100 DJs of 2015, earning him an award for the highest new entry of the year.
KSHMR's position in the DJ Magazine's Top 100 DJ's of 2016 increased by 11 to be placed at 12th and he also claimed an award for the Highest Live Act. He released "The Lion Across The Field EP" on 13 May 2016, his first album. He co-wrote and co-produced 'Tsunami' by DVBBS & Borgeous, as well as 'Stampede' by DVBBS, Borgeous, and Dimitri Vegas & Like Mike, among other songs. On 23 July 2016, he performed his first set in the Tomorrowland (festival) music festival, on the mainstage. On 5 September 2016, he released his new song, 'Invisible Children'. He collaborated with a female DJ, Tigerlily. On 19 September 2016, he awarded under "Best Live Act" category from DJ Magazine contest 2016. He moved from 23rd position to 12th position in top 100 DJ's.
