In this video I give a step by step tutorial on how to replace the cord on your lamp or standing lamp. This can happen by an animal chewing on the cord such as a dog or cat. It can get damaged by moving furniture over it or closed in the door. Any number of things can damage a cord. In this lamp rewiring tutorial please remember safety first, make sure to do this job with the lamp unplugged and if you are not comfortable working with electrical please contact a qualified repair person.
