📚Blackwell’s Bookshop

In my opinion, Blackwell's Bookshop in High Holborn, London, offers an impressive selection of books spanning various genres. Beyond books, it has expanded into other media, including an art and poster shop and a music store. Additionally, it's a top academic bookseller, serving prestigious institutions like Cambridge University.

While once an independent bookseller, Blackwell's was acquired by Waterstones in 2022. Despite this change, the bookstore maintains its inviting atmosphere, with a spacious layout that's not overwhelming. Upstairs, you'll find a diverse range of bestsellers and recommended reads, while downstairs, there's a smaller yet well-curated section featuring science fiction, non-fiction, business, and manga literature.

My new favourite, the London Review Bookshop, nestled in Bury Place, London, is a haven for book enthusiasts. Boasting a curated selection of books across various genres, this charming bookstore offers a delightful browsing experience for all visitors.

While primarily a bookshop, the London Review Bookshop also features a cozy café, making it the perfect spot to enjoy a cup of coffee while perusing your latest literary find. The bookstore's intimate ambiance and knowledgeable staff contribute to its welcoming atmosphere, making it a favorite destination for locals and tourists alike.

From contemporary fiction to classic literature, the London Review Bookshop caters to diverse reading tastes. Additionally, it hosts regular author events and book launches, providing opportunities for readers to engage with their favorite writers and discover new voices in literature.

Hatchards Piccadilly is London's oldest bookshop, founded in 1797 by John Hatchard. Located in the heart of Piccadilly, this historic bookstore boasts a rich literary heritage and a vast collection of books across various genres.

With its elegant interior and traditional ambiance, Hatchards offers book lovers a unique shopping experience. From bestsellers to rare editions, visitors can explore an extensive selection curated by knowledgeable staff.

Sadly for me, this wasn’t my vibe and I felt like I was exploring a maze compared to looking at books! This doesn’t mean you might not love it though!
