The COVID-19 pandemic has overwhelmed the Indian health care system. The Ministry of AYUSH, Govt of India has taken exemplary efforts to harness the resources of AYUSH systems to meet the challenges of the pandemic. Apart from planned studies including clinical trials, setting up of official AYUSH COVID Care facilities, National Protocol for management of mild to moderate cases of COVID-19 has also been formulated enabling AYUSH clinicians to cater to unmet needs of COVID-19 patients at point of care. However, these outcomes are not being rigorously documented and remain anecdotal. A Workshop on reporting Case Report was organized to encourage and help AYUSH clinicians to prepare Case Reports that meet CARE guidelines for publication in peer reviewed and indexed research journals.
