From outright misogyny to death threats, women journalists continue to experience unprecedented levels of harassment - with dangerous consequences ranging from physical and psychological harm to a decrease in their actual contributions to journalism. What are the risks and realities of the violence exerted against women journalists both online and in the ‘real world’? What needs to be done to protect these journalists in this climate?
