Speaking on the rescue operations underway in Uttarakhand, Home Minister Amit Shah Tuesday told Rajya Sabha that 20 people had died in the floods as of 5 pm Monday and work on rescuing about 35 people stuck in a tunnel of the NTPC project is on. Shah also said there is no danger of flooding in low-lying areas as water levels had receded.
