Hi, Dj Trepid here again. Since the program I use to record video of my desktop has a 10 minute limit per video, I decided to do some quick mixes. There are 6 mixes in all on this video but I wasnt able to let any of the songs play through completely. I just got Virtual Dj last week and like using it to mix trance songs. I just want everyone to know that I'm not using a midi controller and I'm not using headphones to beatmatch and I'm also not using the sync button. The whole mix is manually done with just a mouse. I could make the mixes much better if I had a midi controller which I plan on getting within the next week or so, because since I only have a mouse Im not able to adjust 2 aspects of the song at the same time. For example Im not able to turn down the highs, mids, or lows of one song while turning up the highs, mids, or lows of another song at the same time. Not being able to do this makes the mixs not sound as good as they could be. Plus I'm not mixing songs with the same key. Mixing songs with the same key sounds much better melodically but I was just in a hurry and wanted to make a vid mixing more than just one song. Again, I hope you all enjoy these mixes.
P.S.
Can somebody recommend a good midi controller that has atleast 2 channels and a headphone jack with a cue button that will let me hear each channel in my headphones so I can beatmatch the songs together before I mix them.Plus it needs 2 decent jog wheels and must work with Virtual Dj and isnt too expensive. I know there are tons to choose from but would feel better taking advice from anyone who has already had some experience with some.
