"If we're going to seriously increase our capacity to manage our landscape in the face of increasing incidence of catastrophic wildfires, we need to look to our First Nations People to help us," explains Dr Michael-Shawn Fletcher from the University of Melbourne.
Dr Fletcher specialises in geography, ecosystems, landscapes, and climatology and he joins us to discuss the devastating impacts of the 2019/20 Australian bushfires and what we can learn from Indigenous fire practices.
