About Rang Basanta Utsav 2018:

Bihu is the heart of Assamese society. It is the symbol of Assamese culture and tradition. Rongali bihu is the festival for which every Assamese person waits eagerly for the whole year to enjoy to the fullest. Rongali Bihu or Bohag Bihu is the new year of Assamese calendar and is celebrated through out the month. Hence, pride East Ent Pvt every year celebrate this festivity in a unique way by exploring and documenting the Bihu mood of different localities and thus providing a platform to showcase the different styles and variations of Bihu performance in one grand platform titled "Rang Basanta Utsav " Rang Rang Basanta Utsav was started from the inception of Rang channel. It is an unique reality show where Bihu Dols (troops) and individual performers for different titles from nuke and coroners of Assam participates. This reality show has earned a special name and status in every household of Assam and in the minds of Assamese people
