This edition of Kavalan's Solist single malt Taiwanese whisky was drawn from casks that previously held Moscatel Sherry. This has imparted a full-bodied fruit sweetness to the intriguing whisky.


Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt

Nose: Toffee Crisp bars and honey, before layers of caramel-drizzled dried fruits and peaches.

Palate: Quite nutty (think walnuts and almonds). Still has big notes of apricot and sultanas all the way through.

Finish: Rather chocolate-y on the finish.
