NAGHSH JAHAN SQUARE was part of the world's first Iranian place that was registered as world's heritage UNISCO list about 90 years ago!
Around the square, Isfahan's most famous and massive monuments have been built, such as the Abbasi Grand Mosque or the Shah Mosque (in the south side), Sheikh Lutfullah Mosque (in the east side), the edifice (or palace)of ALI QAPO (in the west side)and the Sardar Qisariya (in the north side). Four big baazaar have been built around the square too!
In other words, NAGHSH -E- JAHAN SQUARE means a combination of baazaar, mosque and governmental center!
