The Hometown PAC candidates’ forum was held on August 18, 2014, at the Tennessee Williams Fine Arts Center in Key West, Florida. At the forum, two candidates seeking the Republican nomination for U.S. Representative attended, Ed McDougal and Lorenzo Palomares-Starbuck.

Both Republican congressional candidates were questioned by four Keys residents: Rev. Randy Becker; Naja Girard of Key West The Newspaper (The Blue Paper); Jenna Stauffer, local television newsperson, and Bill Becker, popular newscaster of US 1 Radio, 104.1 FM and moderator of the highly-rated Morning Magazine program.
