The Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra Trust, responsible for the construction of the Shri Ram Temple in Ayodhya, has been granted registration under the Foreign Contribution (Regulation) Act, 2010, which allows it to accept foreign donations as authorized by the Ministry of Home Affairs. Donors can contribute to the trust by depositing funds into the specified SBI account located in Delhi. The construction of the ground floor of the three-story Ram Temple is anticipated to be completed by the end of December, with a consecration ceremony planned for January 22. Prime Minister Narendra Modi is expected to participate in the 'pran pratishtha' event taking place between January 20 and 24, and the temple's official opening is scheduled for January 24. A proposed museum is in the works to exhibit artifacts discovered during excavations and construction, pending approval from the ASI. Thus far, around Rs 900 crore has been expended, with an estimated total cost of Rs 1,700-1,800 crore for the entire complex.
