With less than a month to go before Expo 2012 Yeosu Korea, some international journalists from major media outlets made an official visit to the Expo site April 15-21 to experience the world-class Expo facilities and Korean culture for themselves.
The group began their itinerary with a visit to the Korea Ocean Research & Development Institute to increase their understanding of the marine-themed international event. During this seven-day program, the group toured the Expo grounds and nearby tourist attractions, including Odongdo, Jinnam-gwan and Hyangiram. They also spent some time in Seoul to take part in culture-experience programs, visiting old palaces and the National Museum of Korea as well as catching a performance of Nanta.
