The current wave of abductions and disappearance of individuals linked to the ongoing countrywide protests have taken Kenyans down the memory lane of an era when those opposed to government were arrested and tortured. Three supporters of Occupy Parliament campaign were over the weekend arrested and released. Among them Dr Austin Omondi popularly known as Ja Prado on social media who was actively involved in offering medical services to those injured during the protests. KMPDU has condemned the abductions and vowed not to be silenced by threats from the government.
