This modification is very popular among track cars and street cars alike. Wheel studs allow you to mount your wheels way easier than OEM wheel lugs since you don't need to hold the wheel in place while you try to screw in your bolts. Another huge benefit with wheel studs is they allow you to use wheel spacers since the factory OEM wheel lugs are, most of the time, too short to use with spacers unless you are installing wheel spacers with integrated studs.
