With Cleveland's 2021 mayoral election approaching, Justin Bibb and Kevin Kelley are preparing to hit the debate stage. On Monday, Oct. 11, the City of Club of Cleveland will host "Cleveland Mayoral Debate: Voters First" -- a 90-minute debate between Cleveland's final two mayoral candidates.
The debate will begin at 7:30 p.m. and air via cityclub.org and ideastream.org/debate. It will be hosted by Ideastream Public Media host/producer Rick Jackson and feature a panel of journalists, including the following:
Nick Castele, senior reporter/producer at Ideastream Public Media
Lawrence Daniel Caswell, field coordinator at Cleveland Documenters
Elizabeth McIntyre, executive editor at Crain's Cleveland Business
Additionally, the candidates will field questions from members of the Cleveland community focusing on issues including economic development, infrastructure and the role of the arts.
