Trailer of Old NES Platformer Contra Force. I made AAA game on Unreal Engine 5 like professional game developer and without experience.
Contra Force Remake (PC) Gameplay Trailer RTX ON (no, it’s joke).

I tried to recreate nostalgia game with photorealistic graphics on UE5. The mechanics I created with blueprint programming - shooting, reloading, aiming, hide and get weapons, realistic recoil and bullet spread, opening doors with buttons, and opening doors by pressing, system for overcoming obstacles, mechanics of falling barrels, sliding down an inclined, breaking boxes, moving conveyors, a press, crushers and pits, dialogue system.

In this project I tried to use modern tools of UE5 such as Nanite, Lumen, Metahuman, Niagara.

Original game is Contra Force is an run and gun game released by Konami for the Nintendo Entertainment System in 1992 in North America. It is a spinoff of the Contra series, being the third game in the series released for the NES following the original Contra and Super Contra.
