This first episode focuses on the rationale for decolonising the curriculum, where Funmi shares data showing limited input from racialised minority groups in leadership decisions and curriculum delivery, and argues that, as students from ethnic minority backgrounds are unable to see themselves represented in the education system, representation in the curriculum becomes very important.
