Mass funerals went ahead in Bethlehem and Gaza City on Thursday for the latest Palestinian victims of violence that has rocked the region.
In Gaza, thousands took to the streets for the funerals of two men killed during Wednesday's clashes at the Karni checkpoint.
Armed men flanked the funeral procession as mourners, carrying flags and banners, marched through the city.
In Bethlehem, meanwhile, funerals took place for two civilians, killed in fierce fighting between Palestinian and Israeli soldiers at Al Khader on Wednesday.
Again thousands of mourners, waving Hamas and Palestinian flags, took to the streets of the town for the funeral procession.
The two bodies draped in Palestinian flags were carried shoulder-high by the crowd.
