Join me and have a look at Alesund in Norway - on my cruise with Cunard, Queen Mary 2 around the Norwegian Fjords.

This cruise port of call to Norway, is a lovely town and sea port to explore. The town centre is a short stroll from the cruise port and very accessible by foot or you can jump on the tourist train or sightseeing bus.

In this video, I walk from the ship to stroll around the town centre, before climbing 418 steps to the observatory high on the hill, to enjoy the spectacular views over the town and the surrounding area. It's a very easy cruise stop, as the ship is so close to the town.
