In most cases I believe that it's most useful to construct your own deck, as the deck-creation process is a wonderful way to truly learn and consolidate the content (with actually using the deck being the part where you simply let Anki do its work in making sure you don't forget anything you learned).
But sometimes it's useful to use a deck that somebody else created, or re-use the information that someone else put into Anki for your own purposes. In this video I explain how to download shared decks, the term "shared decks" referring to the collection of decks that other users have made available for public use.
