‘At Last’ is a song composed by Mack Gordon and Harry Warren for the film SunValley Serenade. Etta James sang an arrangement of this tune on her debut album and the song became an instant hit the world over.
This tune was sung at my birthday concert by my good friend Verity Burgess a fantastic singer, dancer and actor now based in London. Verity has a B.Mus in Jazz Vocals from the New Zealand School of Music and has a Masters Degree from the Guildford School of Acting. She has performed with many productions in Europe including West Side Story, Evita, Cats and many more.
