To crochet this easy Christmas tree skirt, you will need a number 6 super bulky yarn about 600 yards and a 9 mm crochet hook. The tree skirt is measuring about 14 inches long by 33 inches wide.

Pattern:
1. Chain 25 + 1. Work 1 dc into the 2nd ch from hook and work 1 dc into each ch across. (25 dc total)
2. Ch 1 and turn. Work 2 dc into each st around. (50 dc)
3. Ch 1 and turn. Work 1 dc into each st around. (50 dc)
4. Ch 1 and turn. * Work 2 dc into the 1st st and 1 dc into the next st. Repeat from * (2,1,2,1,2,1....) (We increase 50 dc in the increase rounds, which are even rounds)
5. Ch 1 and turn. Work 1 dc around.
6. Ch 1 and turn. Work 2 dc into the first st and work 1 dc into the next 2 sts. Repeat 2 dc into the following st and 1 dc into the next 2 sts around. (2,1,1,2,1,1....)
7. Ch 1 and turn. Work 1 dc around.
8. Ch 1 and turn. Work 2 dc into first st and 1 dc into the next 3 sts. Repeat work 2 dc into the following st and 1 dc into the next 3 sts around. (2,1,1,1,2,1,1,1...)
9.Ch 1 and turn. Work 1 dc around.
10. Ch 1 and turn. Work 2 dc into the first st and 1dc into the next 4 sts. Repeat work 2 dc into the following st and 1 dc into the next 4 sts. (2,1,1,1,1,2,1,1,1,1....)
11. Ch 1 and turn. Work 1 dc around.
12. Ch 1 and turn. Work 2 dc into first st and 1dc into the next 5 sts. Repeat work 2 dc into the following st and 1dc into the next 5 sts. (2,1,1,1,1,1,2,1,1,1,1,1....)
13. Ch 1 and turn. Work 1 dc around.
14. Ch 1 and turn. Work 2 dc into first st and 1dc into the next 6 sts. Repeat work 2 dc into the following st and 1dc into the next 6 sts. (2,1,1,1,1,1,1,2,1,1,1,1,1,1...)
15. Ch 1 and turn. Work 1 dc around.
16. Ch 1 and turn. Work 2 dc into first st and 1dc into the next 7 sts. Repeat work 2 dc into the following st and 1dc into the next 7 sts. (2,1,1,1,1,1,1,1,2,1,1,1,1,1,1,1....)
17. Ch 1 and turn. Work 1 dc around.
18. Ch 1 and turn. Work 2 dc into first st and 1dc into the next 8 sts. Repeat work 2 dc into the following st and 1dc into the next 8 sts. (2,1,1,1,1,1,1,1,1,2,1,1,1,1,1,1,1,1....)
19. Ch 1 and turn. Work 1 dc around.
20. Ch 1 and turn. Work 2 dc into first st and 1dc into the next 9 sts. Repeat work 2 dc into the following st and 1dc into the next 9 sts. (2,1,1,1,1,1,1,1,1,1,2,1,1,1,1,1,1,1,1,1...)
21. Ch 1 and turn. Work 1 dc around.
Note: If you want to make your skirt bigger follow this pattern and for increase rounds, which are even rounds only, add 1 extra st between the increase sts (increase sts are 2 dc worked into the same st.)
