There isn't a better way to celebrate the Christmas season with your family than spending it where Santa Claus lives. Arizona's North Pole Experience (NPX), home of Santa's authentic workshop and one-of-a-kind Christmas adventure is the only place in the US that brings an interactive North Pole to life. Heading into their fourth year of business, NPX has moved Santa's headquarters' to Flagstaff, Arizona for the 2012 season with a massive new workshop that is 250% bigger than the previous years.
Guests who visit NPX will enjoy an enchanting trolley ride to the North Pole through Santa's magic portal and arrive at his famous toy workshop. When children knock to enter the enormous wooden workshop doors they begin with a tour through Santa's Toy Hall of Fame adorned with toys from the turn of the century until today. They are then introduced to Alibaster Snowflake, Santa's head elf and are invited to work side-by-side building toys with the elves, attend Elf University (EU) and join the elves inside Santa's bakery to eat cookies and enjoy hot chocolate.
New for 2012, Santa will be unveiling exciting, never seen before sections of his workshop which include his top-secret "Area 47" Sleigh Hanger, featuring his famous sleigh jam packed with some of the most advanced technology in the world, runway lights and electronic radar systems. Guests will also now have private access to Santa's main factory floor, with soaring toy slides and ceilings and Santa's top-secret 'Toy Development' room, where Santa creates and designs all the new toys, guarded with top-of-the-line elf security.
Before leaving the workshop, North Pole guests will enjoy special one-on-one family time with Santa himself for precious memories and photos, and depart back on the magic trolley where the adventure wraps up with crafts and storytelling with Mrs. Claus. For an additional fee, families are also invited to experience the unique opportunity of dining with Santa at the famous North Pole Experience breakfast with Santa.
