Rabindranath Tagore is a great Bengali poet. He also Novelist, musician, playwright, painter, short-story writer, essayist, actor, singer and philosopher. Rabindranath Tagore was born 7 May 1861 in India. His father name was Debendranath Tagore and his mother was Sarada Devi. He wrote many stories, novels, poems and dramas. He is also very well known for composing music.

His writings very much influenced Bengali society during the late 19th century and early 20th century. Rabindranath Tagore become the first non-European to win the Nobel Prize in Literature in 1913 for gitanjali. Tagore Died on 7th August 1941.
