Hi, My name is Riddhi Patel. I'm a hardware engineer, working at Tile Inc. I have completed my masters from UT dallas and have been working in IOT/wireless domain for more than 4 years.

I've been joining Tile for a year. It has been almost a decade since I started developing Android applications. I have a passion for pushing mobile technologies to the limit and have experience with a wide variety of Android device resolutions. It's existing to accomplish my career goal with Tile. In order to continually improve my skill set, I help to organize the Tech Bookclub at Tile. My goal is to exchange programming knowledge across the different teams so that we can learn from each other.

* Krithika Baskaran * :: Sr. Software Engineer
Krithika is currently a Sr Software Engineer on the Tile Services backend team at Tile. She has extensive experience in Java with a focus on APIs and backend services. She has a Master’s degree in Computer Science from the University of Pennsylvania, and has a passion for learning about new technologies.In my free time I love hiking beautiful trails.
Talk: Krithika will provide an overview of the tile backend tech stack which enables our finding platform to process over 1.5 billion API requests a day. She will share how we have become more performant by using asynchronous processing through the use of kinesis streams and their consumers, leveraging a task execution engine and disruptors. She will also discuss how we’ve leveraged different database technologies including DynamoDB and Redis to handle the different data use cases for our system.
* Katerina Egorova * :: Sr. Software Engineer
Senior software engineer with strong background in providing solutions to difficult problems with recent experience of designing and architecting Windows client applications utilizing Bluetooth LE technology. Dedicated to maintaining up-to-date industry knowledge and IT skills and пassionate about expanding Tile Finding experience to Windows platform

* Jossie Haines * :: Sr. Director, Web & Platform Engineering
Jossie Haines has spent 20 years in the tech industry as a software engineer, tech lead, and engineering leader at the forefront of emerging technology across Silicon Valley, including engineering manager on Siri at Apple, and both Principal Software Engineer and Director of Engineering at Zynga for a variety of teams. She is currently the Platform Engineering Director at Tile, where she is integrating the Tile technology into the 5 billion bluetooth devices released every year. She is also an advocate for women in the tech industry, and actively mentors on the Plato and WEST platforms. Jossie started Women at Siri, and leads the Women at Tile employee resource group, and mentorship program.
