Today's featured white wine is Vinha Antiga from Provam, from the Vinho Verde wine region at the northernmost part of Portugal!
Vinha Antiga wine is produced from the oldest vines of the Provam property. This wine was the first Alvarinho grape wine to age in French oak throughout the region. This is an extraordinary wine, with a very high aging potential. It's known for its freshness and high acidity, with notes of tropical fruits.
What's more, I thoroughly enjoyed visiting Provam, tasting some of their best wines, and Vinha Antiga is very memorable for me. It's a wine I would personally drink over and over again.
