Ford announced that they are stopping production of the Fiesta after 46 years. Although I'm now purely a VW/Audi owner, I've owned various Fiestas over the years starting with the Mk1 950L model that I learnt to drive in and failed my first driving test with. The first Fiesta I bought myself was a blue 1984 Mk2 1.1L in 1991 swiftly followed by a red 1987 1.4 Ghia model E652EGU for some extra power! In 1993 I upgraded to a burgundy 1990 1.1LX (H160EPX) that was virtually new but by 1994 decided I could now afford the insurance for a 1.6S (G464NKL). This was my last Fiesta for over 20 years until I bought a MK7 Zetec in 2017. Sadly the magic had worn off by that point and I only kept it a month before selling to get another VW Golf!
