The LAN Boeing Dreamliner B787-9 made its first appearance in Sydney this morning, when CC-BGA operated the LAN801 service from Santiago via Auckland. LAN have been operating the shorter B787-8 version of the Dreamliner to Sydney since April 2015, and there is the potential to operate a direct Santiago-Sydney service with this aircraft.
