In this episode we take a trip to Marathon, FL for the second time in 2022. This time I purchased a new Shimano BeasterMaster 9000 so that I can Deep Drop and do some Swordfishing myself.
In my previous uploaded videos I show you how to spool up the BeastMaster 9000 and also teach you how to Rig a Wax Line Loop along with rigging Squid for Swordfish. I was not successful hooking up to a Swordfish on this day and only managed to pull up a Blueline Tile fish while Deep Dropping. Although Blueline Tile fish was closed in September I at least was able to use my new electric reel and teach myself how to exactly use it.
I could say it was a disappointing day with everything we lost and work hard for but you know sh*t happens and you just have to start over in order to get better at what you are trying to accomplish. Overall I think it was a fun day on the water.
