Marines from Marine Forces Reserve conducted hazardous material technician training in collaboration with the U.S. Coast Guard at Pilottown, La., on July 29, 2016. The scenario involved responding to a simulated chemical lab in an abandoned hotel, believed to be producing a dangerous mustard agent. This exercise allowed Marines to enhance their skills in dealing with hazardous materials and fostered interoperability between Marine Forces Reserve and the Coast Guard.
