The first phase is actually pretty fun, the second however. The laser attack single handedly ruins the boss, then the boss can also summon mini hands. The stratergy for the second phase may be boring but seems to be the most consistent way of avoiding the laser altogether or if you get it with the distance still being able to outspace it. Make sure you are at metyrs bum as then it triggers the jump away.
