This balance bike by Puky (LR1) has been fantastic.. he's had it since he was about 2 yrs 4 months & has loved it. It's now a year later & he loves the ramps at the skate park just outside Fairburn.
We chose the Puky LR1 balance bike (with brake) because it was sturdy, pretty lightweight, and both the seat and handlebars could be adjusted as he grew. He's big for his age so I guess other children would get more use out of it.. we just managed over a year.
He's had a pedal bike for Christmas so we're transitioning him over; first getting him used to the pedals with the stabilisers on, then we'll get rid of those when he's ready. The balance bike has sorted out his stability for travelling at speed (as you can see from this video).
