As travellers, we save hard, we stick to a budget and we make it last as long as possible.
However, it doesn't go to plan when people try to take advantage of us being a tourist. People think we have mass amounts of money to throw around and it is not true at all.
In this video I fly to Lima, Peru and I have not even left the airport before I meet my first con - Claro, the SIM card company, are right at the exit of the airport charging a ridiculous $59 for a one week SIM card!
ALSO! .. You will see I need 3 jabs of a COVID vaccine to enter a market place. This goes for all shops and public areas in Peru etc! (May 2022)
