Howdy!
This is a series of animations that I made while running dynamic analyses on mini-Baja style dune buggy. The car assembly was modeled in PTC Creo Parametric software, and the analyses were run using the Mechanism application
These are all pretty short cartoons, but they required A TON of work to make. After all was said and done, though, I could review the results and find the reaction forces at the connections between components.
I really enjoyed making this video, and I would love to create more content on the nitty-gritty of doing cool stuff with CAD software. Or, if y'all have something else engineering-y you'd like to see, I'd love to hear it in the comments! Some topics I've considered:
