Taliban’s deputy minister of foreign affairs Sher Mohamad Abbas Stanikzai has said that women should be involved in all areas of life including politics, and the nation's reconstruction. However, his statement is in contrast with Islamic Emirate’s practical actions since coming to power last August, as several restrictions have been imposed on the rights of girls and women to education, freedom of expression and employment.
