Alpinestars gave the Tech 7 motocross boots a major overhaul in 2013 and has turned a decent mid-level dirt bike boot into something that riders can get super-pumped about. We're talking Ryan Dungey levels of SuperPUMPED!! The entire lower portion of the boot now resembles the top-tier Tech 10 design. It features more protection and comfort, plus it makes shifting easier thanks to a slimmer profile. The old buckles were a godforsaken nightmare to put it mildly, but a fresh take on the aluminum hardware has resulted in one-finger ease to open or close. A new joint in the middle of the boot allows for more natural movement and easier manipulation of the motorcycle. It's also much flatter on the inner leg which helps grab onto the motorcycle when you're skimming whoops or tossing fatty whips.
