Russian state tech corporation Rostec has said the German-made Leopard tanks lack explosive reactive armor, making them vulnerable to Vikhr and Ataka missiles employed by Russian combat aircraft. Rostec also listed Kornet anti-tank missile systems and the 125mm Mango shells as weapons as effective countermeasures against the Leopards.
