Hi everybody, this is Jim Weigl, the President and Founder of Virginia Toy & Novelty Company. I wanted to show you a really cool product that I’m excited about. It’s called the “LED Flexi Light.” Inside the box of the Flexi Light is the sensor that you plug into the outlet that goes into the wall. And then you also got the remote control. And then the Flexi Light itself that comes on a spool like this.
The Flexi Light is about a half inch thick, about 10 feet long. It’s got a plug that plugs into here. There’s two little arrows that you have to line up to make sure it gets to the right spot. And as you can see it just turns on with the remote control.
So this sensor has a little button over here that you have to aim the remote control at. So as you put it here, you can turn it on and off. And then you can cycle through all of these different functions and the colors. There’s five different functions and a wide array of different colors that you can get out of it. So I’m going to show you a little more about it.
So as you can see, this has got lots of lights, lots of colors on the LED strip. You can point at the sensor, pick any color you want and cycle through it. So it’s got red, blue, green. Looks like an orange, that’s a lighter green. We’ve got some purple. I’ve got some pink. I’ve got some yellow. And we’ve got some other functions that you can do. Those are the solid colors. There’s fifteen of them on here, on the remote control that you can get directly. You can actually adjust how bright or how dim the lights go with the remote control. And then you can also use the different functions. Ahh, don’t forget there’s also white, that would be number 16.
So you press the flash button and the lights are going to flash through the different colors. We’ve got the ability to speed it up. We’ve got the ability to slow it down. And we can go somewhere in the middle for a really neat flashing function. The next mode that they have, brace yourself, strobeing. So the strobeing light is really fun. It’s really bright as you can see. And you can change the speed of how fast the light will strobe around. So speeding it up to potentially seizure zone right here.
The next mode is going to be the fade mode. The fade is a lot slower of the moving process. This is the fastest and then we slow it down. And then you can see how it will slowly fade through the different colors. So if I’m picking any particular color, I can pick green and then we can have it fade and then I will change how fast it fades. It goes lighter and darker, different fading functions.
And then the last one is smooth, it’s called. So smooth is a little bit slower of a transition. Going through the different colors instead of just one color. So as I speed this up, it’s going to cycle through the colors faster – still pointing at the sensor on the plug. And then I can slow it down and slow it down and slow it down. And of course I’ve got the solid colors I can go back to as well.
Couple things to keep in mind with this. You can at the end of this right here, you can plug this back end into the new one that you purchase that will extend it. You can do actually five different piece together. That’s fifty feet of product that you can get with one remote control and one plug. Really neat!
This is for indoor use only. It’s not eligible to be put outside. It’s too sensitive to the elements. It does have the adhesive that we talked about. Relatively inexpensive for what you’re getting. A lot of play value, really fun and interesting. And might be good to bring on trips, good for RVs, camping, all sorts of different places that you can use it.
