Short recording of DUBUS 2010. QTH is W7EME/P CN72. Tuning around 144.050 I come across the monster IK3MAC. Huge signal for my 5wl, 50 ft LMR600, no preamp, FT-897D, generic PC sound card. This film is to illustrate what you can do with your single yagi if you mount it on a step ladder and go outside and move it every half hour or so. Convencing? Try it. IK3MAC is a huge signal. I have worked other single Yagi CW stations with a 5wl Yagi, 1k5watt and a simple radio such as the FT897D, YO3FFF was an example....
