Police were called at 15:06hrs on Friday, 18 December to Brendon Avenue NW10 after a teenage boy had a substance thrown over him by a group of males who then fled the scene.
It is not known what the substance was.
The victim, aged 16, suffered no injuries and declined medical treatment.
No arrests.
A crime scene was in place but has now been closed.
