What a Great Day on the river!!! Started out by catching some really nice Skipjack on some sabiki rigs. Ended up landing about 8. Had a good selection of Fresh bait including big river shad. We were using 3 way swivels with 10 ot semi circle big cat hooks, 10 to 12 to 16oz flat bank sinkers' 80lb mono leader line, and 80lb braid main line. We were targeting high flow areas between locks on the southside of the dam where the bait was stacked up. We were using a kayak to get into key areas that boats cant get into. And making bait drops on underwater shelfs that fish were sitting on. We ended up catching some really nice blue catfish. Including a new pb. And a whole mess of hybrids and white bass! Overall it was an epic adventure!!!!
