When others are running away from the market, we are running into the market. The week of St. Patrick's Day, we purchased nearly $3,000 in dividend stocks adding over $110 in forward dividend income!

When we evaluate dividend growth stocks, we focus on three dividend diplomat stock screening metrics, to determine if the stock is undervalued:
1.) Price to Earnings Ratio Less than the S&P 500 and the competition
2.) Dividend Payout Ratio Less than 60%. This shows the stock can continue to pay the dividend and increase that passive income stream
3.) Dividend Growth Rate: We want to see a history of the dividend increasing, as well as a high dividend growth rate
**Bonus Metric**: The Dividend Yield, which determines how much you get paid to own the stock!
Bert and his wife stayed busy buying dividend stocks during the first full week of December, despite what the Fed had plans on doing.
Bert and his wife went HAM on the banking sector. In fact, they added over $1,000 in stocks in the banking sector! The income added was great because dividend yields for banks climbed to insane levels as prices tumbled.
Lanny and his wife completed their Vanguard Trifecta and added plenty of other great dividend Artistocrats and other stock purchases to their portfolio!
