LRP's Jürgen Lautenbach on which batteries the LRP team used out of the CCL 2020 Graphene-4 series and why?
👉 In TC Mod it was a straight-forward affair at this track. Everybody in the team used the 5200 Hyper LCG (#431272) as it offers the Lowest Centre of Graphity with a height of only 17.0mm, sufficient capacity and the best car balance due it's low weight. LRP battery weights (#430110 and #430120) are used to fine-tune the cars' balance.
👉 In TC Pro Stock it's more diversified and explains why we have the various batteries in our range. Our 8100 Stock Spec (#431280) offers a super low IR (internal resistance) AND high capacity to run highest in the discharge curve of the battery during the run for highest power at the end of the run. This battery was used by drivers that can get the car's balance right with the higher battery weight. These are mostly Awesomatix drivers as this car allows to position the battery closest to the centre. Our drivers using Xray or Schumacher cars choose our 7400 Stock Spec (#431276) with equaly super low IR (G4 technology is the first time we achieved this) and due to its 30g lighter weight offers them greater set-up flexibility."
