This is my ADHD brain just rambling & ranting convolutedly...likely not a word but it is now, about what I thought of my overall experience with the DLC and just the game in general at the state it's in as of June 2020. You've been warned, this is NOT a review. I literally mean what I say in the title. It's just how my brain works, or in this case doesn't work lol.
A big thanks to Avalanche Studios for providing me with this opportunity. This is the first time I'm in a position like this. It's quite exciting.
Officially on PC the DLC releases on June 23, 2020, and for consoles at a later date this summer. I was provided with an early key from Avalanche Studios. The embargo is June 20, 2020 for non live footage via YouTube, and so here it is. I'm keeping my videos at about 30 minutes each. I never got a chance to unlock a lot of stuff on PC, as I had played the game since day 1 on PS4 Pro, and only have recently re-purchased the game on PC now that I got my new GPU. I had to copy a save file over to this beta version of GZ FNIX Rising, so that I'd be ahead enough to unlock the first mission. I spent hours to get here, and I'm on 4 hours of sleep, so bare with me as I discover this blindly.
Generation Zero is an open world FPS set in the 80's in Sweden. Machines seem to have inhabited the land, and you appear to be all that is left of humanity. #GenerationZero #FNIXRising
